Departure: Monday,  September, 12, 2011
Arrival: Tuesday, September 13, 2011
Return Flight:  ????

Details are now coming in.  Time to prepare. Time to ask questions and seek answers.

Options and requirements are starting to be defined and the specific details of preparation can begin.  Teaching school in Lincoln is over for Jen.  Course work at UN-L completed for her Masters.  It is time to move ahead and the pieces and parts are coming together.

Oh my word! Now it begins to feel a bit overwhelming!

Jen is not the first person to close up her residence in the United States and put things on hold for a year.  Lots of people do this.  But I had never really fathomed all the details.  She is amazing.  She just takes this one detail at a time, one decision at a time, one hurdle at a time.  As the weeks pass,  the departure date is drawing closer and the preparations are fast paced.

Someone wise once said, “Face life and its challenges one at a time.  You conquer and succeed by meeting life as one challenge at a time.”  That is just how Jen is handling this.  That is the method and strategy that appears to be her guiding force.  She moves closer and closer to absolute preparation by facing this huge opportunity as one challenge at a time.

As the journey of life presents itself to us, there is very little we can control.  Intentionality does move us forward.  Flexibility does give us the opportunity to succeed in the face of challenge.  Face one challenge at a time and conquer it.  Then move on.

And so it goes with Jen.
